Varilight Remote Control Dimmer Light Switches have an industry-wide reputation for exceptional performance, long life and innovation at attractive prices. All our remote dimmer switches are designed to meet the latest European Safety Legislation. These remote control dimmer switches are controlled via an infra red remote control - either the YRC8 supplied by us or any tv/stereo remote control. The remote control dimmer switches can also be touch operated.

Our remote/touch dimmer switches can be used for mains incandescent GLS lamps (standard mains light bulbs),GU10 or similar Hi Spot Mains Halogen lamps or low voltage dimming. Each dimmer specifies its maximum load so simply match it to your requirements. By using remote/touch dimmers there is a zero risk of damage in case of lamp failure and a dramatically improved lamp life due to soft start technology. All our remote dimmer switches use Trailing Edge technology and are 1 way, but can be used as multi-way by combining them with our remote slave switches (but can not be combined with standard dimmer switches), video information below:
