This Varilight Touch/Remote Dimmer Switch uses the latest Trailing Edge Technology providing many more functions than any other dimmer switch.

All the products on this website are designed to meet the latest European Safety Legislation.

As the name suggests you can either dim these products by touch or alternatively using a remote control.

The Touch/Remote Dimmers are suitable for 1-way circuits, or they can be used in combination with 1 or more of our touch control Dimming Slaves which enables you to dim the same lights from 2 or more switch locations in a 2-way or multi-way circuit.

The Touch/Remote Dimmer can be used for mains incandescent GLS lamps (standard mains light bulbs), maximum load as specified on dimmer. It can also dim GU10 or similar Hi Spot Mains Halogen lamps (only use quality UK supplied lamps) maximum load as specified on dimmer. By using Touch/Remote dimmers there is a zero risk of damage in case of lamp failure and a dramatically improved lamp life.

If you are using the dimmer with quality low voltage transformers such as Varilight low voltage transformers (product codes: YT70, YT105, YT150, YT250) or other quality electronic low voltage transformers, you can control them up to maximum load as specified on the dimmer.
